KSAC Announces 2021 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams; A Number North Clarion Track And Field Athletes,Clarion Area Baseball And Softball Players Named

The Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference has announced their 2021 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams and a number of Clarion Area Baseball and Softball players, and North Clarion Track and Field athletes were named.

The North Clarion Track and Field Team had a huge number of athletes named.

The She-Wolves had two individual First Team selections, Rebekah Ketner in the shot put and Evelyn Lerch in the 400. The 1600 Relay, including Lerch, Bella Scott, Rachel Bauer and Trinity Thompson, and the 3200 relay, consisting of Brynn Siegel, Scott, Bauer, Thompson and Jorsyn Hendrickson, were both named to the First Team.

Scott and Lerch were also named to the Second Team, Scott in the 800 and Lerch in the 100 (tie with Karns City’s Ashley Fox).

For the Wolves’ Boys, Dawson Hotchkiss was named to the Second Team in the 200.

The Lady Cats Softball Team had one First Team and three Second Team selections.

Jordan Best was named to the First Team at catcher. Payton Simko was named to the Second Team as a pitcher; and Brenna Campbell and Noel Anthony were named to the Second Team as infielders.

Two Bobcats were named to the Baseball Squad’s Second Team. Cole Slaugenhoup was selected as a catcher and Dawson Smail was named as an infielder.

This year’s MVP’s include:

Girls Track – Moniteau’s Hannah Burgoon; Girls Field – A-C Valley’s Baylee Blauser; Boys Track – Moniteau’s Alex Bell and Keystone’s Cody Buzard (Co-MVPs; Boys Field – Moniteau’s David Stamm; Softball – Keystone’s Natalie Bowser; Baseball – Clarion-Limestone’s Bryson Huwar.
