2021 Fall Sports Kick-off Bonfire Celebration To Be Held This Coming Thursday, August 26th

The Annual Kick-Off to Fall Sports Bonfire will be held this coming Thursday, August 26 at 7:30PM at the Clarion Area High School field (directly behind the High School).

The entire community is invited to this big fall sports kick-off event.

Players and coaches from all fall sports teams, the Wildcats Football Team (Clarion, North Clarion and Clarion-Limestone co-op), Lady Cats Volleyball, Lady Cats Soccer (co-op with Clarion-Limestone), Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer (co-op with Clarion Area), Bobcats and Lady Cats Golf and Cross Country, as well as the Clarion Area Band will be introduced.

Keeping the event upbeat and fast paced, as always, will be crowd favorite Doug Klein, who has worked every Bonfire Celebration since its inception.

The Band, under new band director Sarah Dawson, will perform the National Anthem, as well their new songs.

Pallets decorated by the different squads will be displayed and after the team introductions. There will be the Pallet Contest, where they will be judged to determine the best pallet.

The equipment trailer with the new Wildcats graphics will be on display.

And finally the everyone will be invited to gather at the Bonfire which will be supervised, as always, by Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1.
