Co-medalists Devon Lauer And Kameron Kerle Lead Bobcats To First Place In Opening 2021 KSAC Golf Mega Match

Led by co-medalists Devon Lauer and Kameron Kerle, the Clarion Area Bobcats to a first place finish in the 2021season opening Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Golf Mega Match at Cross Creek Resort, on Thursday, August 19th.

Devon and Kameron each finished with 39’s. The pair finished two strokes ahead of Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing (41) and three ahead of Cayden Baker (42) from Cranberry.

Mckayla Kerle recorded a 43 for the Bobcats, to finish in a tie for fifth with Moniteau’s Dawson Wallace.

Avery Kline shot a 44, for a tie for seventh place with Zeelan Hargenrader from Forest Area, while Lucas Mitrosky’s 46 placed him in a three-way tie for tenth with Nick Aaron and Brady Fowlkes of Clarion-Limestone. Bobcat Owen Kriebel shot a 51.

The Bobcats shot a 211, eighteen shots ahead of second place Cranberry. Rounding out the Top Five were: Moniteau at 233, Clarion-Limestone at 252 and Forest Area at 262.

The Next KSAC Mega Match will be at Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred Golf Course in Butler, on Tuesday (August 24th).
