Strattanville’s Blaise Fleisher, son of Rob and Lynne Fleisher has concluded a great ATV motocross season by winning the 2021 McElwain’s Gold Cup Summer Series of Motocross in the 90cc Class.

This is the third consecutive year that Blaise, a ten year old, fifth grader at Immaculate Conception School, who has been racing since he was seven, has won the award.

Blaise, revved up and rarin’ to go!

Spending a lot of time on the awards podium, Blaise claimed five of the six McElwain’s Gold Cup Series races this season. The races, which ran from June 25th through August 16th, were held by TNT Sports MX at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds. The races were held on Friday evenings, with the exception being the finale, which was held on Monday of the Lawrence County Fair.

Blaise runs number 88, which is also the number of his favorite professional driver, Joel Hetrick. Joel is a two-time winner of the ATV MX National Championships and is in the hunt for this year’s title.

Blaise also races in the Competition Riders of America (CRA), which has races in Western Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio, placing third overall in the 90cc DRR Class, last year, while also placing second overall at Pymatuning Holeshot Raceway in Linesville.
