Clarion Area Golf 2021 Season Preview, Bobcats Looking For 3rd Straight Conference Title

With a pretty full roster, including several key returnees, the Clarion Area Bobcat Golf Team looks like they can make some noise in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference and District Nine.
The two-time defending KSAC Boys’ Champion Bobcats, under 13 year Head Coach Jay Kerle could challenge for both titles. Kerle’s coaching staff includes his Assistant Coach and wife Jackie and Volunteer Coaches Dave Brueck and Lake Staub.
Though the Bobcats have lost 2020 District Nine qualifier, Jackson Fox to graduation, they return Devon Lauer – 2020 First Team All-Conference selection and district qualifier, Mckayla Kerle – 2019 district and regional qualifier Third Team All-Conference, 2020 district qualifier and Second Team All-Conference and Owen Kriebel 2020 Third Team All-Conference. Another key returnee is Avery Kline.
The lone senior on the roster is Ryan Alston. McKayla Kerle and Gary Matus are juniors. There are five sophomores on the squad, Sophomores: Kline, Kriebel, Devon Lauer, Tanner Miller and Emily Troese. Freshmen Ben Aaron, James Keenen, Kameron Kerle and Lucas Mitrosky round out the squad.
