Bobcats’ Mckayla Kerle Is Medalist In KSAC Girls Golf Mega Match

Clarion Area’s Mckayla Kerle earned medalist honors, shooting a 41, in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Girls Golf Mega Match, at Clarion Oaks on Tuesday (September 21st).
Fellow Bobcat, Emily Troese carded a 55 in the event.
Following Mckayla in the Top Five were Moniteau’s Brynne Barger with a 49, Cranberry’s Alaina Houge at 51, Moniteau’s Emily Covert, who recorded a 52 and Moniteau’s Victoria’s Pry who shot a 53.
Girls from five schools competed, including Clarion, A-C Valley, Clarion-Limestone, Cranberry and Moniteau. Only Moniteau and Cranberry had enough golfers to qualify for team scores. Moniteau finished with a 154, while Cranberry totaled 168.
Golfers from neighboring schools were Casey Love who shot a 55 for Clarion-Limestone, and Keystone’s Paige Matthews who had a 65 and Molly Ellenberger, who carded a 68.
