Cross Country: Bobcat Boys Fall To Wolves

The Clarion Area Bobcat Boys Cross Country Team fell to the North Clarion Wolves 15-50, in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conrference meet at Clarion County Park on Tuesday (September 15th).

The Bobcats had only three runners. Ryan Alston led the Cats with a fifth place finish, in a time of 20:57. Ben Lambert ran a 21:31 to finish sixth, while Owen Wilson finished ninth with a 32:54.

North Clarion’s Kaine McFarland finished first, with a time of 19:17. Following him in the Top Five were Aiden Thomas in second with a 19:22 clocking, Gabriel Fair, in second place with a 19:22, Gabriel Fair, who ran a 19:57 for third and Dane Sliker whose 20:48 was good for fourth.

Others running for the Wolves were Bradon Custer and Parker Evans.

Clarion didn’t field a Girls’ team.

Brynn Seigel finished first for the She-Wolves with a 22:07. Second place went to Jordyn Hendrickson, who ran a 24:01. Kayla Aaron ran a 24:29, for third place, Emily McCaslin recorded a 32:38 for fourth and Paige Hetrick followed with a 34:24 for fifth place.

Bobcat Hayden Weber won the Boys’ Junior High race, with a 10:33. Other Bobcats in the Top Five were Jonas Wilshire in second place, and Josh Turner in fourth. Dean Sliker finished in third for the Wolves, while his teammate Jack Pappas finished fifth

The Clarion Junior High Girls won their meet 23-34, with Anna Hoover finishing in first place with a time of 12:28. The Lady Cats had two other Top Five finishers, Anna O’Toole in second third place with a 12:54 and Raven Cunningham who finished in fifth with a time of 13:40.

Top Five finishers for the She-Wolves were Rowan Siegel, who ran a 12:43 for second place and Abby Hastings who recorded a time of 12:57 for fourth.
