Boys Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Wolves

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the homestanding North Clarion Wolves, 46-43, on Wednesday (December 15th).

The Wolves led 12-7 after one. Both teams scored ten points in the second period, giving North Clarion a 22-17 halftime lead.

The Bobcats outscored the Wolves 16-12 in the third, and the teams moved to the final stanza with North Clarion up by just one point at 34-33. A 12-10 Wolves edge in the fourth set the final.

Christian Simko led Clarion with 14 points, with Devon Lauer hitting for ten. Derek Smail scored 6 points, Ryan Alston had four, and Gabe Simko, Dawson Smail and Aiden Quinn each chipped in three points.

North Clarion’s Collin Schmader had a game-high 17 points and Aiden Hartle followed with twelve.
