Girls Basketball: Clarion Falls To Union

The Visiting Clarion Bobcats dropped a 45-25 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference decision to Union, on Thursday (December 16th).

Union led 13-10 after one, but a 10-5 second quarter advantage by the Bobcats had Clarion on top by two at half-time, 20-18. The Damsels outscored the Cats 17-5 in the third, to lead 35-25 heading to the final stanza. A 10-0 Union edge in the fourth set the final.

Jordan Best led Clarion with 11 points, including three 3-pointers. Payton Simko and Noel Anthony each had four points. Taylor Alston and Sophie Babington both registered a trey.

Hailey Kriebel had 17 points for Union, with Kiera Croyle following with fifteen.

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Venango Catholic next Wednesday. There will be no JV Game.
