PCN To Televise Redbank Valley – Bishop Guilfoyle PIAA Class-1A Championship Game On Thursday; ESPN2 Broadcasting CFL Grey Cup Sunday

Two football games of interest to local fans are scheduled to be televised during the next few days.

Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) will be broadcasting Redbank Valley’s PIAA Class-1A State Championship game, from Hershey Park Stadium, live on Thursday (December 9th), at 1:00PM. The broadcast will re-air at 4:00PM. PCN is found on Channel 51, in Clarion. Also, ESPN2 and ESPN2HD (Channels 18 and 751) in Clarion, will be broadcasting the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship, Grey Cup on Sunday (December 12th) at 6:00PM, with the Eastern Conference champion Hamilton Tiger-Cats hosting the Western Conference champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Tim Hortons Field.

Former Clarion University standout Julian Howsare, number 95, is a starting defensive end and also sees time on offense, in short yardage situations. Howsare had very solid games in the Hamilton’s Eastern Conference semifinal and Championship games.
