WPAL DuBois To Host Winter Warrior Showdown Powerlifting Meet In January, Registration Now Open

The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) is thrilled to announce that the Winter Warrior Showdown, powerlifting meet is returning to DuBois.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022.
Weigh-ins will be held on Friday January 21st from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday January 22nd from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Powerlifting will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. The event is non-sanctioned, but will follow USA Powerlifting Meet Rules and Regulations.
The meet will feature both a Full Power Meet (Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift), the Iron Man (Bench and Deadlift) competition and a Bench Only contest. Awards will be given to the Top three place finishers in each age/weight class, in the Full Power meet and to the Top finisher only in the Bench and Iron Man contests.
Ages Groups include:14-16; 17-18; 19-35 OPEN;35+ Submaster.
Male Weight Classes include: 125-144;145-164;165-184;185-204;205-224;225-244;245-275;275+.
Female Weight Classes include: 105-124; 125-144;145-164; 165-184;185+.
The cost is as follows:
Early Registration (By December 31st, 2021)

Late Registration (January 1st, 2022 – January 22nd, 2022)
