Wrestling: Clarion Bobcat Varsity And Junior High Both Victorious Over Ridgway Elkers

The Clarion Area Bobcat Varsity and Junior High Wrestling Teams were both victorious at Ridgway on Thursday (January 6th), with the Varsity prevailing 36-5 and the Junior High winning 45-21.

All of the Bobcat wins, in the Varsity contest, came by way of forfeit. Picking up those wins were: Logan Powell (106), Seth Weckerly (126), Mason Gourley (138), Caleb Edmonds (172), Logan Edmonds (215), and Josh Beal (285).

There were double forfeits at 113, 120, 132, 145, 152 and 189. Ridgway’s win came by technical fall at 160.

Hayden Weber was a 6-2 winner at 115, in the Junior High match.

Picking up forfeit wins for Clarion were: Brady McKinney (122), Jacob Henry (130), Kaydin Edmonds (138), Ben Naser (170), Owen Green (210) and James Ketner (250).

Ridgway’s wins came by decision, at 155 and 190.
