Bobcats’ head coach Lee Weber had these comments on the match: “Good to see our two seniors, Caleb and Breckin, earning quick pins on Senior Night!  Both controlled their opponents on their feet and then worked them to their backs for the needed six points.

“Holden Sparks was a key win on a toss-up match!  That match ignited us!

“Ashton, Breckin, and Caleb came through with three pins in a row.

“Logan Edmonds, at 215, lost a hard-fought decision 7-4, but they were expecting 6 points.  He gave the crowd some exciting moments with his throws!

“Josh Beal sealed the deal at heavy weight by avenging a loss with a pin!  He was up 6-2 before he threw a hard headlock to finish the match.

“Seth Weckerly lost by fall against a very good wrestler but had a great attitude going into the match! Also, winning by pins were two dynamic freshmen, Logan Powell and Mason Gourley.”

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Johnsonburg on Thursday (February 3rd).
