Bobcats Fall To DCC In Boys’ Non-Conference Basketball Action

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the visiting DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals 62-45, on Monday (February 14th), in non-conference basketball action.

The score was tied 17-all after one period, but with a 16-11 edge in the second DCC led 33-28 at the half. The Cardinals had an 11-8 third quarter advantage and a 44-36 lead heading to the fourth, where their 18-9 edge set the final.

Christian Simko led the Bobcats with fifteen points. Devon Lauer had 10 points, including a three-pointer. Dawson Smail had 8 points, including a trey.

Derek Smail had 5 points, Ryan Alston scored 4 and Bryce Brinkley contributed two.

The Cardinals were led by Alec Srock’s thirty-two points.

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to A-C Valley on Wednesday (February 16th).
