Baseball: Bobcats Fall To Bulldogs

Clarion Area dropped an 11-3 decision to homestanding Redbank Valley in KSAC baseball action on Tuesday (April 12th) at Redbank Valley Municipal Park.

The Bobcats scored their 3 runs in the top of the first, with the Bulldogs scoring 2 runs in both the second and third, 5 in the fourth and another two in the sixth.

Ryan Alston doubled and had an RBI for the Bobcats. Dawson Smail had 2 hits and scored a run. Devon Lauer singled, drove in a run and scored once.

Chase Kriebel singled and drove in a run. Dauntae Girvan, Tanner Miller and Noah Harrison each singled, and Cameron Lapinto scored once.

Tate Minich had 3 hits, one of them a homer, 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored, while Owen Clouse had 3 hits, including a home run, 2 runs scored and drove in a pair of runs to lead the Bulldogs.

Bryson Bain was the winning pitcher.

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Keystone, today (Wednesday, April 13th), with the game scheduled to begin at 4:00PM.
