North Clarion Sweeps C-L In KSAC Track Meet

The visiting North Clarion Wolves Track and Field Team recorded a sweep of the Clarion-Limestone Lions in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions, of a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference meet on Wednesday (April 13th). The Wolves boys won 85-65, while the girls were victorious by a 95.5-54.5 score.

Boys

Dawson Hotchkis and Kaine McFarland both won two individual events, for the Wolves. Hotchkiss captured the 100 and 200, while McFarland won the 1600 and 3200.

Allan Johnston won the long jump, Koaz Baker was victorious in the shot put, Patrick Young took first in the 400 and Shaffer captured the high jump.

Johnston, Young, Hotchkiss and Noah Naser were victorious in the 400 relay, while young, Hotchkiss, Bailee Verdill and Connor Sliker teamed up to win the 1600 relay.

Girls

North Clarion captured three relays, 400, 1600 and 3200.

Taylor Sherbine and Emalie Best captured two individual events apiece. Sherbine won the 100 and 200, while Best captured the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Gia Babington took first in the 400. Bryn Siegel won the 3200. Rebekah Ketner and Tara Armstrong captured the shot put and discus respectively.
