Wolves Track And Field Splits With Union/A-C Valley

The North Clarion Wolves Track and Field Team hosted Union/A-C Valley on Tuesday, May 3rd, on Senior Night and came away with a split. The North Clarion Girls won their meet 88-57, while the Boys fell to the Knight/Falcons in a close meet 78-72.

Boys

Kaine McFarland McFarland was a quadruple winner, capturing the 800 (2:20.7), the 1600 (5:02.9) and the 3200 (12:27.7), and joining Aiden Thomas, Parker Evans and Dane Sliker on the victorious 3200 relay (9:54.1).

Dawson Hotchkiss was a triple winner, taking first in the 100 hurdles (11.6) and the 200 (23.4) as well as being a member of the winning 1600 relay team (3:52.9) along with Sliker, Patrick Young, Owen Shaffer.

Bailee Verdill won the triple jump (35-7).

Girls

Emalie Best and Emily McCaslin each captured two individual events. Best was victorious in the 100 hurdles (17.4) and the 300 hurdles (51.7), while McCaslin won the high jump (4-3) and the Pole Vault (7-0).

Gia Babington and Sophie Babington were both triple winners. Gia Babington won the 400 (1:06.8) and Sophie Babington won the 800 (2:39.1). The sisters were on the winning 3200 relay (11:55.2) along with Bella Scott and Brynn Siegel, as well as the victorious 1600 relay, where they joined Scott and Kylie Disney.

Brynn Siegel also captured the 1600 (6:05.4).

Disney joined Taylor Sherbine, Olivia Siegel and Evelyn Lerch to win the 400 relay (55.0).

Katie Bauer won the 3200 and Brenna Armstrong took the shot put 31-6.50.
