Bobcats Down Union In KSAC Softball Action

The Clarion Area Softball Team Bounced back from recent losses to Punxsutawney on Friday (April 29th) and Karns City on Monday May 2nd), with a 17-0 three inning win over Union at Paul A. Weaver Park, on Wednesday (May 4th).

The Cats scored 9 runs in the first inning and eight more in the second.

For the Bobcats: Noel Anthony doubled and tripled, drove in 2 runs and scored three times. Emily Troese had a pair of hits, two runs scored and two RBIs. Jordan best singled, drove in a pair of runs and scored a run. Haylee Kratsley had 1 hit, scored 2 runs and had an RBI.

Ally Burford singled, scored a run and drove in two. Payton Simko and Emily Anthony each had a single, scored a run and drove in a run. Hadley Campbell drove in two runs and scored twice. Bri Forrest had 2 RBIs and scored a run.

Alexa Kitchen scored once and drove in a run, while Mackenzie Aaron and Lilly Kiskadden scored a run apiece.

Simko went two innings to pick up the win. Kratsley worked one inning in relief.

Sarah Zitman singled for Union.

Clarion is scheduled to host Redbank Valley Today (Thursday, May 5th) at 4:15PM.
