Devon Lauer Medalist As Bobcat Golfers Remain Undefeated With Win In Third KSAC Boys Mega Match

Devon Lauer shot a 37, to earn medalist honors and lead the undefeated Clarion Area Golf Team to their third straight Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference win, at Cross Creek Resort, on Thursday, August 25th.

Devon finished one stroke ahead of Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing, who carded a 38. Kam Kerle finished third shooting a 39 for the Bobcats. North Clarion’s Zeeland Hargenrader shot a 40 for fourth place. Clarion’s McKayla Kerle finished in fifth place with a 42.

Rounding out the Top Ten were: C-L’s Rylie Klingensmith, Cranberry’s Dalton Wenner and Karns City’s Chloe Fritch in a three-way tie for sixth at 43; and Clarion’s Avery Kline and Tanner Miller each recording a 44, to tie for ninth place.

Bobcat Lucas Mitrosky just missed the Top Ten, finishing eleventh with a 45.

The Bobcats shot a 206 to outdistance second place Moniteau, which had a 232, by twenty-six strokes. Clarion-Limestone was third at 250. North Clarion carded a 256 for fourth. Cranberry finished fifth with a 261. A-C Valley/Union had a 291, Forest Area registered a 302 and Keystone shot a 310 to finish sixth through eighth respectively.

The next KSAC Boys Golf Mega Match will be next Tuesday, August 30th, at Foxburg Country Club.
