Former Clarion Area Standout Kaitlyn Constantino And Six Other Grove City College Softball Players Named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Easton/NFCA Division III All-America Scholar-Athletes; Follows Her PAC Honor Several Weeks Ago

Former Clarion Area Bobcat Softball standout Kaitlyn, who is a Pitcher/Infielder on the Grove City College softball team, was recently honored, along with six teammates, as an Easton/NFCA Division III All-America Scholar-Athlete by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

Student-athletes who achieve a 3.50 grade-point average or higher during the academic year qualify for the award. 

In addition to Kaitlyn, Cara Polese (San Diego, Calif./Canyon Crest), rising fifth-year senior Lexie Buck (Akron, Ohio/Lake Center Christian), rising seniors Janessa Dawson (Zanesville, Ohio/Tri-Valley) and Clare Moran (Watertown, N.Y./Indian River) and rising sophomores Brooke Brodie (Mogadore, Ohio/Mogadore) and Maci Linhart (Columbiana, Ohio/Columbiana) all earned this distinction.

This award for Kaitlyn, an Exercise Science Major, follows on the heels of her being named to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll, for the spring 2022 semester. Both winter and spring sports athletes are recognized on the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

The Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who attain a grade point average of 3.60 or higher, based on a 4.0 scale during the semester they compete.

Kaitlyn is a daughter of Dave and Kim Constantino of Clarion.
