Bobcats Host 2022 Clarion Volleyball Tournament

The Clarion Area Bobcats hosted the 2022 Clarion Volleyball Tournament, on Saturday, October 22nd.

The schools competing in this years competition included Clarion, Conneaut Area, DuBois, Holidaysburg, Indiana, Philipsburg-Oceola, Warren and West Shamokin.

Pool A consisted of Clarion, Holidaysburg, Philipsburg and West Shamokin. Pool B include Conneaut Area, DuBois, Indiana and Warren.

The Bobcats were 3 and 3, in sets in pool play. They downed West Shamokin 25-22 and 25-20. They fell to Philipsburg-Oceola 16-25 and 14-25. Clarion went 1 and 1 against Holidaysburg, 22-25 and 25-22.

The Bobcats downed DuBois in the Quarterfinals, 25-22 and 25-18 to qualify for the Semis.

Clarion fell to Philipsburg-Osceola, 27-29 and 18-25, in their Semifinal match, while Holidaysburg downed Indiana in the other Semi.

Holidaysburg defeated P-O for the Championship.
