Boys Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Bulldogs

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the visiting Redbank Valley Bulldogs 44-38, in KSAC Boys Basketball action, on Thursday (January 20th).

The Bobcats led 9-7 after one and with a 13-10 edge in the second, they took a 22-17 lead into halftime. With an 11-4 Redbank Valley advantage in the third, the Bulldogs led by two, 28-26, heading to the final stanza. A 16-12 Redbank edge, in the fourth, set the final.

Bryce Brinkley led the Bobcats with 12 points, including two treys. Devon Lauer followed with 11 points, including 3 three-point buckets.

Dawson Smail contributed 7 points, with one basket from three-point range. Gabe Simko and Owen Kriebel contributed 6 points and two points respectively.

Mason Clouse led Redbank Valley with fifteen points.

The Bobcat Junior Varsity won 47-41 in overtime.

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to North Clarion on Wednesday (January 25h).
