Wreaths Across America Holds Wreath Retirement Day At Clarion And Immaculate Conception Cemeteries

We had a great turn out for our Veterans’ Wreath Retirement, on Monday, January 16th. Thanks to everyone for helping, and especially Meghan Sibble and Ashley Luton troop leaders for bringing scouts.
Since this was the 4th year many people already knew what to do and we quickly gathered over 1,000 wreaths! Other locations met with their co-coordinators today or over the weekend and their wreaths are also retired.
Several of our regulars who again helped out this year, were Jim and Joanie Kifer, and Jim and Sue Klepfer who took care of the mausoleum, Melanie Parker; Sharon Wagner; and Megan Hull, my husband Bill and son Spencer. A special thanks to Lisa and Doug Craig, my sister and brother-in-law who bring their trailer every year on wreath delivery day, ceremony day and wreath retirement day.
A number of Scouts and Leaders from Clarion Daisy and Brownie Troop 27313 were on hand to gather wreaths.
Everyone was so positive and helpful about the mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and teach the next generation. It is great to see young people learning about Wreaths Across America.
Some more photos.
Next year Wreaths Across America ceremony date is 12-16-23. Wreath sponsorship is an all year long mission, https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/162123 to sponsor wreaths.
