At 152 with Mason Gourley, Sophomore beating a solid wrestler 9-2.  Mason was in control the whole match.

At 160 Jacob Naser, a Freshman, lost 14-7.  He started slow but finished strong.

At 172 Matt Alston, a Sophomore, won a strong 14-7 match.  He made 1 mistake but was in total control the rest of the match.

At 215 Logan Edmonds, our only Sr received a forfeit.

At 285 Josh Beal, Jr, wrestled with good movement throughout the match and reversed his opponent to his back for a fall in the 3rd period.

At 107 Kaden Ferguson, first year on varsity wrestled one of the toughest kid around and lost by fall.

At 114 Logan Powell, So,  was also in control with his solid 8-3 win.

At 121 We forfeited to Cranberry.

At 127 Seth Weckerly, 2nd year, fought his heart out for over 5 minutes but was finally pinned in the final seconds.

At 133 Zane VanTassel, Freshman, lost by fall to another strong Cranberry wrestler.

At 139 Brendon Wright, first year wrestler, fought to the 3rd period but lost by fall.

At 145 Jacob Henry, Fr, competed well against their best middle weight and lost by decision.

I liked our effort. It was 21-21 after 9 matches but their strength in the middle wts dominated our inexperienced wrestlers. Even though we didn’t pull off any upsets, we at least made them work for their wins in most of our matches tonight.

(Way to fight, Bobcats!!!!)
