Bobcats Softball Team Falls To Brookville

The Clarion Area Bobcats softball team dropped a 13-6 decision to the homestanding Brookville Raiders on Monday (May 15th).

The Bobcats opened the scoring with two runs in the top of the third. Brookville scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth, to lead 4-2. Clarion took the lead 5-4, with three runs in the top of the fifth, but Brookville scored seven in the bottom of the inning to lead 11-5. A run by the Bobcats in the top of the sixth and two by the Raiders, in their half of the inning, set the final.

Brianna Forrest had two doubles for the Bobcats, with two RBIs and a run scored. Emeleigh Mahle had two triples and scored three runs.

Hadlee Campbell singled, doubled, scored once and drove in three runs. Alisyn Burford doubled and had an RBI. Kelsey Best had two hits and Emily Troese had a hit.

The Bobcats are set to host Karns City at Clarion County Park, this afternoon (Tuesday, May 15th).
