Bobcats Down Fires In KSAC Baseball Action

The Clarion Area Bobcats defeated the visiting Forest Area Fires, 19-1 (3 innings) in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Action on Monday (May 15th) at Clarion County Park.

Gary Matus had a single for the Bobcats. He drove in two runs and scored once. He was also the winning pitcher, working all three innings, giving up just one hit, striking out three and walking three batters.

Dawson Smail had a pair of doubles and scored twice. Devon Lauer doubled, drove in a run and crossed the plate twice. Noah Harrison had a pair of hits and scored two runs.

The Bobcats are scheduled to host North Clarion at Clarion County Park, this afternoon (Tuesday, May 15th).
