Bobcats Win KSAC Boys Golf Mega Match 5, Devon Lauer Medalist

The Clarion Bobcat Boys Golfers remained undefeated as they won the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Mega Match #5 at Clarion Oaks on Thursday (September 7th), with Devon Lauer taking medalist honors, with a 34.

The Bobcats shot a 195, to pick up their win. North Clarion (227) was second. Cranberry (230) finished third. Clarion-Limestone (236) took fourth. A-C Valley/Union (251) was fifth. Keystone (253) finished sixth.. Moniteau (256) was in seventh, while Karns City (270) and Forest Area (289) finished eighth and ninth respectively.

The rest of the Top Ten Individuals

Clarion’s Kameron Kerle finished second, three shots off the pace at 37. Lucas Mitrosky shot a 39 for the Cats, tying North Clarion’s Mason Shaftic for third.

Fifth place saw a tie at 41, between Joe Rapp from A-C Valley/Union and Nick Aaron from Clarion-Limestone.

Tanner Miller totaled 42 for the Bobcats, to tie Ethan Carll of North Clarion for seventh. James Keenan helped the Bobcats’ cause, finishing ninth with a 43.

Their was a three-way tie for tenth, between Keystone’s Sean Karg from Keystone, Dalton Wenner from Cranberry and Joey O’Donnell from Karns City.

Avery Kline finished in a four-way tie for sixteenth place. His score didn’t count on Clarion’s team score.

The Next KSAC Mega Match is scheduled for Tuesday (September 12th) at Wanango Country Club.
