Bobcats Down Panthers In KSAC Volleyball Action

The Clarion Bobcats downed homestanding Keystone straight sets (25-15, 25-15, 25-15), in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) action on Thursday (September 7th). The Clarion Junior Varsity won their match 2-1 (25-6, 20-25, 15-7).

Varsity Match

Addiwyn Campbell had a solid performance, with 14 service points (5 aces), 11 assists and four digs. Hadlee Campbell had 7 points (2 aces), 16 kills and six digs. Taylor Alston handed out 9 assists and also recorded 3 points (1 ace), a kill and a dig.

Kelsey Best scored 5 points (3 aces) and had one dig. Anna O’Toole had 4 points, seven digs and two kills. Natalie Durish finished with 11 digs and three points (1 ace). Sophie Babington delivered 4 points (1 ace), a kill and a pair of digs. Marley Kline registered 4 kills, 2 digs and an ace.

Laren Brinkley finished with two points (1 ace) and Alivia Diehl contributed two kills.

Junior Varsity Match

Anna O’Toole delivered 11 points ( 1 ace) 3 kills and four digs. Rhiannon Copenhaver had 7 points (3 aces), a kill, 3 assists and four digs. Lacey Lauer delivered 4 points, 9 digs and three kills. Kelsey Best contributed 8 points and five digs. Addiwyn Campbell had 10 assists, a dig, a kill and three points (2 aces).

Rya Hollingsworth scored 4 points (1 ace) and had two digs. Madison Schill scored four points (1 ace). Brinley Kiskadden registered 3 digs and one point. Lauren Brinkley had four kills.

Eve Gilmore had two kills. Aubrey Leonard had two digs and Alivia Diehl had a kill.

The Bobcats are scheduled to compete in the Wilson Tournament on Saturday (September 10th).
