Girls Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Wolves 47-38
The Clarion Area girls basketball fell to visiting North Clarion 47-28, on Thursday (December 7th).
The Wolves led 8-1 at the end of the first period, 27-10 at halftime and 38-17 after three, before a 21-9 Bobcat edge in the fourth set the final.
Clarion’s Taylor Alston was the game’s high scorer with 24 points, including a three-pointer. Gia Babington sank three treys on her way to eleven points. Marley Kline and Sophie Babington had three points each, with Babington’s points coming on one from long range.
Lily Homan led North Clarion with 14 points, including two three-point shots, while Brooke Steinman had twelve points, including a three.
The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Union on Monday (December 11th).
