Junior High Wildcats Wrestling Team Triumphs In Historic Season Dual Meet Opener Against Sheffield, First Ever Home And Season Dual Opener In New Program’s History

The Central Clarion Wildcats Junior High wrestling team had a fine season dual meet opener registering a 51-21 victory over the visiting Sheffield Wolverines, on Wednesday, December 13th. This is another in a season of historic firsts as this was the first ever home and season dual meet opening win in the new program’s history.
Among the winners for Central Clarion were four wrestlers who pinned their opponent, Mason Best-Whitmer (:29), Jimmy Sprague (4:21), Demetrius Peace (2:13) and Owen Bohlander (4:15).
Ben Naser won a 9-2 decision.
Cooper Macormac, Nathan McDonnell and Dylan Albertine each won by forfeit.
