Boys Basketball: Bobcats Down Panthers In “Hoops For Hope” Game
The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the Keystone Panthers 59-47 in the “Hoops for Hope” boys basketball game at Keystone, on Saturday (January 20th). The game was a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference matchup.
The Bobcats led 18-8 after one period, 29-21 at halftime and 53-41 after three.
Devon Lauer led Clarion with a game high 16 points, with four long-range baskets. Derek Smail had a trey, as he totaled twelve points.
Gabe Simko scored 8 points and Dawson Smail delivered six points. Bryce Brinkley and Nathan Frederick each had five points, with Nathan connecting on a three-pointer.
Mason Burford had 4 points and Owen Kriebel contributed a three-point basket.
The Bobcats will host Redbank Valley, tonight (Monday, January 22nd)
