Registration And Sponsorships are still open for this Saturday’s (January 20th) WPAL-DuBois 2024 “Winter Warrior Showdown” Powerlifting Meet.

WPAL DuBois is located at 37 East Long Avenue in DuBois.

Weigh-ins from 7am-8am. Powerlifting begins at 9am.

Cost: Early Registration (By Dec 31st, 2023): Full Power ( All 3 Lifts) $60; Iron Man (Bench/Deadlift) $40; Bench Only $30, with a Free Competitor Shirt Guaranteed.

Late Registration (January 1st – January 20th): Full Power ( All 3 Lifts) $70; Iron Man (Bench/Deadlift) $50; Bench Only $40.

The Top 3 Places in each weight class in all divisions will receive awards in the Full Power Meet, with 1st Place awards only in Bench and Iron Man.

The meet is Non-Sanctioned meet but will follow USA Powerlifting Meet Rules and Regulations.

The age group divisions include: 14-16; 17-18; 19-35 OPEN; and 35+ Submaster, in the following weight classes:

Male Weight Classes: 125-144; 145-164; 165-184; 185-204; 205-224; 225-244; 245-275; and 276+.

Female Weight Classes: 105-124; 125-144; 145-164; 165-184; 185+.

Please consider Sponsorship of this Event. We are also accepting donations of cash or prizes to help. Donations and sponsorship checks can be mailed to 37 East Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801. Proceeds benefit the WPAL Fitness Center in Downtown DuBois which is a part of the Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League, a 501(c)3 Not for Profit Organization.

The various levels of sponsorships are:

EVENT SPONSOR $1,000 – with the Sponsor receiving: Company Name on marketing materials and Program Signage at event – Email and Social Media Blast to over 20,000 local individuals and businesses and Entry in the Event for 2 Competitors and -Shoutouts throughout the Event.

STAGE SPONSOR $250 – with the Sponsor receiving Signage at the Event on Stage – Mention in Schedule and Program and the Social Media Blast.

PLATE SPONSOR $100 – with the Sponsor receiving Signage at Event Near Weights and Mention in Schedule/Program Social Media Blast.
