Boys Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Bulldogs
The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the homestanding Redbank Valley Bulldogs 56-36 on Saturday (February 10th), in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference matchup.
The Bobcats led 12-10 after one period, but the Bulldogs had a 15-11 advantage in the second to take a 25-23 lead into halftime. The Bulldogs led 41-31 after the third.
Devon Lauer led the Bobcats with 8 points, including two treys and Bryce Brinkley followed with seven points, including one bucket from long range.
Nathan Frederick scored 5 points, including a bucket from beyond the arc, with Dawson Smail also contributing five points.
Gabe Simko and Derek Smail had four points each. Tanner Miller finished with one point.
Breckin Minich led the Bulldogs with 15 points, while Owen Clouse had fourteen. Minich had two treys and Clouse had one.
The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Foxburg, to face A-C Valley today (Monday, February 12th).
