North Clarion Boys Down Redbank Valley And Moniteau

The North Clarion Wolves track and field teams hosted the Redbank Valley Bulldogs and the Moniteau Warriors on Tuesday, April 23rd.

The Wolves boys defeated Redbank 107-43 and Moniteau 100-48.

North Clarion won all three relays against both schools.

Jonah Wilshire, Dane Sliker, Wyatt Boyden and Mason Gourley, teamed up to win the 3200 relay (8:54.3), Dane Sliker, Boyden and Gourley joined with Mason Burford to claim the 1600 relay (3:51.8), and Noah Naser, Ben Lambert, Brady Quinn and Isaac Lerch won combined for the win in the 400 relay (46.4).

Burford claimed first in the 100 hurdles (15.9) and the 100 (11.1) and second in the 400 against both schools. Lerch won the 200 (25.0) and finished second in the long jump against both schools and third in the 100 against Moniteau. Wilshire finished first in the 1600 (5:03.1) and second in the 800 in both. Boyden claimed the 400 (55.2) against both the Bulldogs and Warriors.

Gourley won the 300 hurdles (46.0) against Redbank and was second in the 300 hurdles and third in the 400 against Moniteau.

Dane Sliker won the 800 (2:17.9) against both schools. Brady Guth won the triple jump (36′-11.75″) and placed third in the 800 against the Warriors and was second in the triple jump and third in the 800 against the Bulldogs.

Micheal took first in the high jump (5′-8″) and Hayden Hindman won the shot put (40′-3″) against both teams.

Lambert was second in the 110 hurdles against both schools and third in the high jump against Redbank. Aiden Thomas was second in the 300 hurdles against the Bulldogs and third in the same event against the Warriors. Logan Bish was second in the javelin and third in the 200 against both. Josh Turner was second in the 3200 and third in the 1600 against both schools.

Dean Sliker was second in the pole vault against both. Naser was second in the shot against Redbank and third against Moniteau. Jack Pappas was third in the 3200 against both. Quinn was third in the long jump and tied teammate Asher Bell for third in the pole vault versus both schools. Jackson Rudesyle took third in both the shot and discus against the Bulldogs. Anthony Bartley was third in the triple jump against Moniteau. Ian Hoke was third in the javelin against Redbank.

The Wolves girls also downed both schools, downing Redbank Valley 98-48 and Moniteau 100-48. Details will follow when available.
