Bobcats Seeded First In District Nine Class-1A Baseball Playoffs

District 9 released their 2024 baseball and softball playoff seedings on Thursday (May 16th). The 16-2-1 Clarion Bobcats are the number 1 seed, in Class-1A Baseball, thereby earning a quarterfinal bye as did number 2 seed, DuBois Central Catholic.

Number 5 seed Cameron County will play at number 4 seed Union on Tuesday, May 21st), with the winner facing the Bobcats in a semifinal contest on Thursday, May 23rd, at a neutral site.

The other quarterfinal game will have number 6 seed Keystone at number 3 seed Elk County Catholic , also on Tuesday, with the winner playing number 2 seed DuBois Central Catholic also at a neutral site on Thursday.

The winners of the semifinals will play in the championship game will be played on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, at Showers Field in DuBois.
