North Clarion Girls Coach Doug Jackson shares the Wolves’ highlights:

Our athletes performed well and gained some valuable experience against the best of the best in the PIAA. In many cases, they did better than seeded.

Mason Burford with his parents, Laura and Brian.

Mason Burford started things off by running his fastest electronic-timed 110 hurdles with a 15.61.

Wyatt Boyden had a personal record in the 400 with a 51.42 and is closing in on the school record.

Wyatt Boyden recovers from his 400 while Mason Gourley awaits the next day’s 4×800.

Brenna Armstrong didn’t pr but had an admirable performance to top off her amazing junior season in her second trip to States and finished 16th in 2A in the event.

The 4×800 relay team of Jonas Wilshire, Dane Sliker, Wyatt Boyden, and Mason Gourley finished 14th with a time that was nearly ten seconds faster than the school record they broke earlier in the season.

We are very proud of our athletes for their efforts and dedication throughout the season.
