Bobcats Down Falcons In KSAC Volleyball Action
The Clarion Area Bobcats defeated the visiting A-C Valley Falcons in straight sets (15-12, 25-10, 25-13) in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference girls volleyball action, on Tuesday (September 24th).
Hadlee Campbell led the Cats’ scoring with 17 points (8 aces). She also had 14 kills and three digs. Anna O’Toole followed with 12 points (2 aces) and six digs. Addiwyn Campbell scored 8 points (3 aces), while handing out 25 assists. She also had 2 digs and a kill.
Sophie Babington had 5 points (1 ace), 3 kills and three digs. Aubrey Leonard contributed 5 points (2 aces). Ali Burford had 2 points (1 ace) and three kills. Natalie Durish recorded 1 point, 3 assists and four digs.
Marley Kline had 5 kills and a dig, and Kelsey Best had a dig.
The Clarion Junior Varsity won their match 2-0 (25-14, 25-4)
Lacey Lauer Led the scoring with thirteen points. Kara Wilson had 7 points and Leonard had six points.
The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to District 10 Corry today (Wednesday, September 25th). The game is a matchup between the state’s Class A #1 Bobcats and the Class AA #1 Beavers.
