Bobcats Down Falcons In KSAC Volleyball
The homestanding Clarion Bobcats downed the A-C Valley Falcons 3-0 (25-4, 25-4, 25-15) in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action, on Thursday (September 26th).
Natalie Durish led the Cats in service points, with 16 (5 aces). She also had 3 digs and an assist. Aubrey Leonard and Lacey Lauer also had double-digit service points, 13 (5 aces) and 10 (4 aces) respectively. Lauer also had a dig and six kills. Addiwyn Campbell had her usual big night on assists, with twenty-two, while serving for 3 points (all of them aces) and collecting two digs.
Marley Kline had 4 points on serve (2 aces) 8 kills and a dig. Sophie Babington recorded 4 service points (3 aces), 2 kills an assist and four digs. Anna O’Toole also had four service points (2 aces). She also had three digs. Kelsey Best served for 3 points (1 ace), and had an assist and two digs.
Clarion also won the Junior Varsity game in straight sets (25-5, 25-9).
Leonard led the way with 17 points and Amerie O’Neil had nine points.
The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to North Clarion on Tuesday (October 1st).
