Bobcats Downs Union In KSAC Volleyball Action

The Clarion Bobcats came through with a straight-set (25-12, 25-2, 25-12) victory against visiting Union, in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Volleyball action, on Tuesday (September 17th).

Addiwin Campbell and Natalie Durish led the Bobcats’ scoring with each registering 17 points, including seven aces. Campbell also had 24 assists 3 kills and a dig, while Durish had 5 kills and an assist.

Lacey Lauer contributed 9 points (4 aces), 3 kills and a dig. Ali Burford had 3 points and three kills.

Anna O’Toole, Aubrey Leonard and Sophie Babington each had two points. One of O’Toole’s points was an ace. She also had 5 digs and a kill. Babington had 5 kills and a dig. Hadlee Campbell had 8 kills to go along with 1 point and a dig, while Marley Kline recorded 6 kills and a dig.

The Clarion Junior Varsity won their match 2-1 (25-11, 19-25, 25-7).

The Bobcats are scheduled to take part in the Cumberland Valley Tournament on Saturday (September 21st).
