Undefeated Clarion Area Golfers Move Record To 7-0

The undefeated Clarion Area Bobcats moved their season record to 7-0, with a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Boys Golf Mega Match win, on Wednesday (September 11th) at Hunter’s Station Golf Course.

The Bobcats finished with a score of 190, twenty-seven strokes ahead of Keystone, which shot a 207 for second place.

Kam Kerle led Clarion with a round of 34, to finish in second place, one shot behind A-C Valley’s Joe Rapp’s winning score of 33.

The Bobcats’ Lucas Mitrosky finished third with a 36. James Keenen came in sixth at 38. Wyatt Watterson’s 40 placed him in a three-way tie for tenth place. Parker Miller recorded a 42 to finish tied with three other golfers in fifteenth place. Gabe Anderson shot a 47, good for a three-way tie for twenty-seventh. Gabe’s score did not count toward the team total.

The Team scores: 1) Clarion (190); 2) Keystone (207); 3) Cranberry (215); 4) Moniteau (217); 5) A-C Valley/Union (226); 6) North Clarion (236); 7) Karns City (239); 8) Forest Area (243); and Clarion-Limestone (274).

KSAC Mega Match #8 is set for Clarion Oaks Golf Course, today (Thursday, September 12th).
