Thomas Uckert Named Player Of The Year, Four Wildcats Named To 2024 YDL / D9and 10 Sports All-District Nine Boys Soccer Team
The 2024 YDL / D9and 10 Sports All-District Nine Boys Soccer Team was announced on Tuesday, December 10th, with several Central Clarion Wildcats being named, including Player of the Year, Thomas Uckert.

Along with Thomas, fellow Wildcats, Wyatt Boyden, Isaac Lerch and Martin Ormeno were also selected.
Thomas, Wyatt and Isaac were all selected to the First Team.

Thomas and Wyatt were both named as Offense/Midfielders, while Isaac was named as a Defense/Keeper.

Martin was selected to the Second Team as an Offense/Midfielder.

Several other area players were also selected.
North Clarion had two players selected. Logan Bish was named to the First Team as a Defense/Keeper and Kayden Baumcratz was given a Second Team nod as an Offense/Midfielder.
Redbank Valley had two players named to the Second Team. Kieran Fricko was selected as an Offense/Midfielder, with Nolan Barnett as a Defense/Keeper.
Brookville’s Gannon McMaster was selected two the Second Team as a Defense/Keeper.
Karns City’s Mason Bell was selected to the Second Team as an Offense/Midfielder.
Joining Thomas in receiving Major Awards were Brockway’s Luke Martino, Brockway as Rookie of the Year and DuBois’ Matt Erickson as Coach of the Year.
