Girls Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Lions By One Point In KSAC Action
The Clarion Area Bobcats dropped a one-point, 46-45 contest to the visiting Clarion-Limestone Lions, in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action on Monday (February 10th).
Clarion led 13-12 after one. A 6-4 Lion edge in the second, had C-L up by one, 18-17 at the half.
Outscoring the Lions 13-8 in the third, the Bobcats led 30-26 heading to the fourth. But a 20-15 C-L edge in the final stanza set the final.
Three Bobcats scored in double-figures, Alivia Diehl with 12 points, Lacey Lauer with 11 and Marley Kline with ten. Lacey had three buckets from beyond the arc.
Sophie Babington had 8 points, including a trey. Natalie Durish scored 3 points and Olivia Boddorf had one point.
Kaylyssa Ferguson and Julianna Schwabenbauer led the Lions with 12 and ten points respectively.
The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Johnsonburg tomorrow (Wednesday, February 12th).
