Girls Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Redbank Valley

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to homestanding Redbank Valley 64-42 in a KSAC basketball matchup on Friday (February 7th).

Clarion held an 8-2 lead after one, but Redbank held a 16-6 edge in the second for an 18-14 halftime lead. A 28-17 Redbank advantage in the third, sent the game to the final stanza with the Bulldogs leading 46-31. An 18-11 Redbank edge in the fourth set the final.

Lacey Lauer led the Bobcats’ scoring with seventeen points, including 5 three-point baskets.

Sophie Babington and Marley Kline had 8 points each with Sophie canning two treys.

Natalie Durish had 5 points and Alivia Diehl and Lilly Shirey each contributed two points.

Mylee Harmon and Addy Bond led the Bulldogs with 21 and eighteen points respectively.

Clarion is scheduled to host Clarion-Limestone on Monday (February 11th).
