Bobcats Down Bulldogs 2-1 In KSAC Baseball

The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the Redbank Valley Bulldogs 3-2, in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference baseball matchup, at Stern Field on Wednesday (April 2nd).

Redbank scored one run in the top of the first, with Clarion answering with two runs in the bottom of the inning. Both teams scored a run in the third.

Ethan Rex doubled for the Bobcats. He drove in two runs Derek Smail had 1 hit and scored two runs.

Smail was the winning pitcher, going 4 innings, with 6 strikeouts and allowing, 2 runs and 3 hits while walking six. Noah Harrison ame on and pitched 3 scoreless innings in relief, giving up just 1 hit while striking out 4, walking a batter and hitting a batter.
