Bobcats Down Falcon-Knights In KSAC Baseball Matchup

The visiting Clarion Area Bobcats downed the Union/A-C Valley Falcon Knights 10-5 in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference baseball matchup, at Union on Monday (April 28th).

The Bobcats scored two runs in the top of the first and two more in the second, while holding the Falcon Knights scoreless to lead 4-0. Neither team scored in the third.

Clarion pushed five runs across in the top of the third, moving their lead to 9-0, but Union/A-C Valley scored three in the bottom of the inning. Clarion 9 – Union/A-C Valley 3 after four.

Neither team scored in the fifth. The Falcon Knights scored one run in the sixth. 9-4, Bobcats. Both teams scored one run in the seventh to set the final.

Noah Harrison had 2 hits, 2 RBIs and a run scored for the Bobcats. Parker Miller had a pair of hits, three runs batted in and a run scored. Derek Smail singled twice, drove in a run and scored twice. 

Billy Kahle singled and scored two runs. Dylan Smail had a hit and scored a run. Hayden Weber singled. Ethan Rex, Carter Hindman and Wyatt Watterson each scored a run.

Hindman went four innings on the mound to pick up the win.

Ryan Armagost and Alex Walzak had three hits apiece for Union/A-C Valley.

The Bobcats are scheduled to host Moniteau today (Tuesday, April 9th) at 4:15 p.m.
