Redbank Valley Wrestling Club Holding Girls Wrestling Clinic Hosted By National Champion And University Of Iowa Wrestler Ava Bayless, This Saturday (May 25th); Registration Details In The Article

The Redbank Valley Wrestling Club will hold a girls wrestling clinic hosted by National Champion and University of Iowa Wrestler Ava Bayless, this coming Saturday (May 25th)

Pre event registrations through Venmo are encouraged. Walk-in registrations are also welcome. Walk-ins can use cash or Venmo. The cost is $30.00 which covers both 1 1/2 hour sessions, which run 10:00AM – 11:30AM and 12:30PM – 2:00PM

The clinic is for those who already wrestle and those who want to check out the sport for the first time.

The proceeds from the event will go to Ava to help offset some of her expenses as she goes to Spain during the month of June to participate in a study abroad course. The clinic is a labor of love for Ava as she continues her passion to grow girls wrestling in Pennsylvania.

Ava shared about the clinic and some of her amazing accomplishments in the sport of Women’s Wresting.

“I will be hosting a girls wrestling clinic myself, where girls will learn new techniques on the mat, play wrestling games, and have a chance to ask me any questions!

A glance at an overview of just some of Ava’s manyaccomplishments will give an indication of how much can be learned at this clinic.

Ava shared, “Some basic info is that I am from Greenville, PA and grew up attending Reynolds School District. I went to Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, PA for high school, where I was a two-time National Prep Champion and multiple time USA age-level National Team member and competed internationally.

“A few of my accomplishments in college are: 2024 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships (NCWWC),(the annual National Championships for NCAA Women’s Wrestling programs), National Champion, 2025 NCWWC 4th place finisher, 2024 Olympic Trials Qualifier, 2025 u23 Nationals Runner-Up.”

Ava closed by saying, “I encourage any young girls to come join in on the fun this Saturday! I am thankful for Redbank Valley for having me and their support of growing women’s wrestling! I look forward to a great day.”
