Softball: Jenna Dunn Records 200th Career Strikeout As Wildcats Down Union/A-C Valley

The visiting Central Clarion Wildcats downed the Union/A-C Valley Falcon-Knights 8-3 on the softball field at West Freedom’s David Wetzel Memorial Park, on Friday, May 10th.

Wildcat senior, Jenna Dunn reached major milestone during the game, recording her 200th Career Strikeout.

The game was to be stopped to give Jenna recognition, but as it happened strikeout ended the fourth and the team presented Jenna with a special Commemorative sign made by Amber Greeley.

The Wildcats scored a run in the first and second innings, three in the third, a pair in the fourth and another in the seventh. The Falcon-Knights’ runs came in the third and fifth innings.

Jenna also had a double for the Wildcats. She scored a run and drove one in a pair of runs.

Ashlyn Clark tripled and scored a run. JJ Wilson had a double and scored. Elizabeth Estadt and Kaylee Smith each had a single and a run scored a run.

Samantha Simpson had a hit and an RBI, Emileigh Mahle scored a pair of runs, and Megan Powell scored a run.
