Five Wildcats Chosen To South Roster For Tomorrow’s (Friday, June 27th) Varischetti Game 2025

Five Central Clarion Wildcats have been chosen to participate in the 10th Annual Frank Varischetti All-Star football game in Brockway on Friday, June 27th. The contest is part of the 59th Annual Brockway Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration.

The Wildcats selected include: Jimmy Kerr, Kohen Kemmer, Braylon Beckwith, Jase Ferguson and Jesse Siwiecki.

The 10th annual Frank Varischetti All-Star football game will be played at Frank Varischetti Field in Brockway on Friday, June 27. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The North and South teams are comprised of members of the Class of 2025 who played football for one of 19 District 9 League schools. The South won, 20-0, last year. The North leads the series 5-4.

Punxsutawney head football coach Brandon Snyder will lead the South team, which includes Brookville, Central Clarion, DuBois, Karns City, Keystone, Moniteau, Punxsutawney, Redbank Valley and Union/AC Valley. The South roster includes:

Central Clarion: Jimmy Kerr, Kohen Kemmer, Braylon Beckwith, Jase Ferguson, Jesse Siwiecki

Brookville: Jacob Clinger, Austin Colgan

DuBois: Carter Vos, Brysen Delaney, Nathan Kougher, Carter Wilson, Danny Dixon, Isaiah Korney

Karns City: Braden Slater, Camden Ealy, Shane Peters, Gus Harmon, Aaron Walker, Troy Nagel

Keystone: Drew Keth, Spencer Heeter

Moniteau: Trent Beachem, Carter Sutton, Kurt Gindhart

Punxsutawney: Davin Iannacchione

Redbank Valley: Drew Byers, Austin Eastlick, Broc Monrean Hayden Rearick, Rylan Rupp

Union/AC Valley: Owen Bish, Christian Salizzoni, Quintin Hornberger

The North includes Bradford, Brockway, Bucktail, Cameron County, Kane, Otto-Eldred, Port Allegany, Ridgway, Smethport and St. Marys. Jake Heigel, head football coach at Brockway, is the head coach for this year’s North team, which includes:

Bradford: Talan Reese

Brockway: Johnny Varischetti, Blake Pisarcik, Colton Ross, Jay Wherry, Carter Guaglianone

Bucktail: Brody Pentz, Talan Ditty

Cameron County: Landon Farren, Koby Shepard, Maxx Newton

A highlight of the game is the presentation of $1,000 scholarships to players from Game Sponsors. The scholarships are awarded prior to kickoff. Since the game’s inception, $141,000 in scholarships has been awarded.

General admission tickets are available at the gate; $5 for adults, $2 for students.
