Western PA CARES Child Advocacy Center will be holding their annual Duathlon, 5K & Communty Walk Fundraiser on Saturday, July 19th at Cook Forest. They share this release with event particulars and sign-up link:

Join Us for the Annual CARES Duathlon, 5K & Community Walk – July 19, 2025!

Western PA CARES for Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Child Advocacy Center dedicated to reducing the trauma experienced by abused children in our community, invites you to our annual Duathlon, 5K & Community Walk on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Shelter 2 in beautiful Cook Forest State Park. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

This family-friendly event includes:

Cash prizes for race winners

Free picnic lunch for all participants and spectators

Exciting raffles – including gift cards, theme park passes, and sports tickets

Timed Duathlon & 5K events, plus a community walk for all ages
