The Clarion Area Boys golf team’s season recently came to a close. Head Coach Dave Constantino shares this season review:
The 2025 Clarion Area golf season was defined by significant growth and a successful rebuilding effort for the young Bobcat squad. Facing the departure of several talented seniors who had achieved individual and team success, this season’s team relied on its emerging talent. Senior Gabe Anderson and junior Parker Miller led the way, providing a reliable one-two punch throughout the campaign. Their consistent performance was recognized with qualifications for the prestigious KSAC and District 9 championship tournaments. Miller capped his standout season by medaling at the KSAC match with an eighth-place finish, earning a Third Team All-KSAC selection.

Solidifying the team’s lineup were underclassmen Blake Weckerly and Michael Troese, who consistently held the number three and four spots. Their dependable performances provided the depth the team needed in every match. As underclassmen, they are poised for a strong future with the program. Freshman Channing Ragon played a crucial role in the fifth slot, delivering key scores that often elevated the team’s final placement in tournaments. The sixth spot saw an effective rotation between freshman Bentley Blystone and sophomore Gage Kinnan, with both players stepping up at crucial moments to secure better team results.
With only one senior on the roster, this young team gained invaluable experience that will serve as a powerful foundation for next year. However, the program’s continued success will ultimately hinge on the dedication and hard work invested during the offseason.
(Congratulations to Parker, Gabe, Blake, Michael, Channing, Bentley Gage, and Coaches Constantino and Kerle on a fine season!!!!)
